I am really impressed by this practice. While the NHS and GP's surgeries seem to get constant criticism by the media at the moment, this practice is obviously working hard to provide the best possible service. I am not a frequent visitor to the GP (probably once a year) but I have never failed to get an appointment. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. I have seen three different GP's at this practice in the last three years and they have all been fantastic. We are very lucky to have such a great service in our town.

As a patient who uses the waiting room I would like to record my appreciation of the imagination and care of the design, provision and decoration.Comfortably relaxing.

I would not recommend this surgery. you cannot get an appointment with the same doctor twice and the receptionist, Helen, is contemptuous.

As a patient at Gold Steet I feel My health problems are well looked after, I have been referred to relevant specialists when needed. All of the Drs I've seen have made me feel I've not wasted their time. I'm also a carer of a Gold St patient and he is always treated with respect and dignity. The appointment issue seems to be the same at many surgeries, more houses means more patients, but their is less government funding to increase staff levels etc and that's happening across the country so.... There is however a problem with the car park, it can be difficult with my disabled dad who Can hardly walk, but only because of selfish people leaving their cars in the carpark to pop to waitrose or into town! (Which I've witnessed) anyone that can walk from the carpark next door should do so. It may cost you 70p but it's better than taking up valuable spaces at the surgery! Small rant over. This is a great surgery that I'm happy is looking after Me and my family.

Went with a potential heart issue and was told to call an ambulance or 111, no GP available! Very dismissive, which seems to be a theme among these comments! Can not comment on cleanliness of surgery, we were sent away!
